– Ci3 Smart Impact closure event –

On May, the 3rd, the closure event of the SMART IMPACT project of the URBACT III program of the European Commission was held in the TYCE space of Guadalajara.

This project, which started in May 2016, was directed to allow and promote exchange of good practices, in terms of smart cities between several European cities such as Manchester, Dublin, Porto and Stockholm. The project was led by an expert of the Fraunhofer Institute.

The Sustainable Urban Development Strategy in Guadalajara was presented as part of the project action plan during the event by the Deputy Mayor Jaime Carnicero, accompanied by the Councilor for the Environment affairs Francisco Úbeda.

The Smart Infrastructure Innovation Center (ci3), technical advisor throughout the entire project, was also part of the organization and development of the event.
